According to recent reports Eminem is working on new material with collaborators D12.The rapper, who released his The Marshall Mathers LP 2 last year (2013), is believed to have contributed to three new tracks for the Detroit collective.

The news comes via a profile of producer Mark Bass in the Detroit Free Press that outlines his upcoming projects. It will be D12 first new music in a decade.
In the piece, it is claimed by the writer that Bass "says he has also been mixing new material by the mercurial funk-pop giant Sly Stone with members of the original Family Stone band, along with new D12 tracks, including three with Eminem".
D12’s last album D12 World was released back in 2004 – with the group keeping their profile low key after the murder of group member Proof in 2006 in a nightclub shooting.

Bass has also worked with Eminem in the past, producing his hit singles Without Me and Lose Yourself.
